Coldplay became the only the best-selling rock bands in England.

Rock music album sales experienced the worst experienced inthe last eight years in England.

Seven of the top 10 selling albums last year in the category ofpop, with Adele and Bruno Mars who managed to sell millions ofalbums.

Only two in the ranks of the top 10 which is a type of rock andindie albums, namely Ed Sheerans + and Coldplay with XylotoMylo album.

As a whole album of rock music as of 21.2% of total music saleslast year, down from 29.4% in 2010.

This figure shows the worst year for rock music since 2003.

Artist and record company boss several times told BBCNewsbeat that they are concerned about the lack of rock bandswho contracted in England.

While sales increased 33.6% pop genre from a year ago, or the highest for this category since 1999.

Adele became a leader in this genre with his album 21 becamethe best-selling albums in the 21st century so far.

Another British singer who was also sold in the year 2011, including Jessie J, Olly Murs and Noel Gallagher.
