Disney to celebrate leap year

While we know a year to be 365 days long, it actually takes 365.26 days for the Earth to make a complete cycle around the sun. The concept of the leap year and the occasional leap second is to help make up for that about a quarter of a day that is lost. leap year (or intercalary or bissextile year) is a year containing one extra day (or, in the case of lunisolar calendars, a month) in order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year. The right of every woman to propose to the man of her choice on February 29 each leap year goes back hundreds of years when the leap year day had no recognition in English law.
