LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS 1 (continue)

GAS WORK DONE.

Temodinamika is a branch of physics that studies of heat flux, the energy changes that result and the work done by heat.

1. Outside enterprise (W), namely: The work done by the system to his surroundings to the system. Suppose the gas in the room freely without friction berpenghisap heated (at a constant pressure), then the volume will increase with V.

The work done by the gas to the outside air:

W = p.V

2. Enterprises in the (U) is: Work done by part of a system on other parts of the system, too. On heating the gas as above, businesses in the form of movements between the gas molecules are heated to be faster.
Energy in an ideal gas is:

 LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS 1

In a system that gets as much heat energy Q will there is a change in (U) and doing business outside (W).

Q = U + W

Q = heat of entry / exit system

U = change in energy

W = Work outside.

PROCESS - THE PROCESS OF LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS I.

1. I law of thermodynamics for the isobaric process.

In this process the gas is heated with a constant pressure.

(See picture).

before heating after heating

Thus in this process applies equation-GayLussac Boyle

If the graph is described in relation to P and V, it can be graphed as follows:

Cooling Warming

Outside of business done is: W = P (V2 - V1). I therefore law of thermodynamics can be stated:

Q = U + p (V2 - V1)

Heat required to raise the temperature of the gas at constant pressure can be expressed by the equation:

Q = m cp (T2 - T1)

Accretion energy in the gas can also be expressed by the equation:

U = m cv (T2 - T1)

Hence the work done on isobaric process can also be expressed by the equation:

W = Q - U = m (cp - cv) (T2 - T1)

m = mass of gas

cp = heat of gas at constant pressure

cv = heat at fixed volume types.
